GamingThese pages use different style mixes and guidance because an Instagram bio, a fast-scanning TikTok profile, a Facebook post and a Discord community are not the same job.
A normal font changes how the same letters are drawn. Most “fancy fonts” on social media work differently: they use other Unicode characters that already resemble bold, script, gothic, circled or mathematical letters. Because those characters are part of the copied text, the appearance can travel with what you paste.
That also explains the limitation: the destination needs to support those characters. If a service strips unusual Unicode or your device lacks a glyph, the result can change or display as an empty box.
You should be able to compare close alternatives without opening a dozen almost-identical tools.
Popular styles such as bold, cursive, gothic and small text have their own generators when extra controls and guidance are useful.
Closely related variants stay together so you can compare them side by side and copy the one you prefer.
