Text you type into the generator
In the current build, the main Fancy Text Generator transforms your text in JavaScript in your browser. The text you type is not sent to Fancy Text Generator's server or stored by the site. If a future tool needs server-side processing, this notice and the data-practices inventory must be updated before that tool is released.
Favourite styles
If you star a font style, the current build stores only that style ID in your browser's local storage so the favourite is remembered on that device. Favourite data is not sent to Fancy Text Generator's server. You can clear it through your browser storage controls.
Analytics
Fancy Text Generator uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve tools and content. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics” in the site’s cookie controls. If you reject analytics, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded. You can revisit your choice using the Cookie settings control.
Advertising
Google AdSense advertising is not enabled in this production package yet. Before advertising is enabled, the site’s advertising consent and Google-certified CMP configuration must be completed and the privacy/cookie information updated to match the live setup.
Younger users
This site's subject matter and visual style may appeal to people under 18. The rebuild therefore uses data-minimising defaults: no account is required for the core generator, the generator does not need geolocation, and typed text is processed locally in the browser. We do not want interface design to pressure younger users into providing unnecessary personal data. The production advertising configuration must complete an age-appropriate privacy and AdSense age-treatment review before release.
Information you send to us
If you contact the site, we may process the information you choose to provide so we can respond, investigate a problem or handle a privacy request. Correspondence should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes or any legal requirement.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you and the processing involved, you may have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and complaint rights. Contact details for exercising those rights will be confirmed before release.
Third-party services
The final production privacy notice will identify active analytics, advertising and consent providers and link to relevant information where appropriate. No provider will be described as active merely because it is planned.
