How the effect works
Glitch or Zalgo text stacks Unicode combining marks above and below ordinary characters. The actual text is still made from characters rather than an image, but heavy combinations can show very differently across apps and can be difficult for screen readers and other accessibility tools to read.

Is glitch text the same as Zalgo text?
Glitch, Zalgo, cursed and creepy text all use extra marks around normal letters. This tool lets you change how strong the effect is without jumping between different pages.
Why does heavy glitch look different after I paste it?
the app you paste it into, operating system and font decide how combining marks are positioned. Heavy effects are therefore less predictable than ordinary Unicode alphabets.
Does this damage my original text?
No. The tool runs locally in your browser and only changes the copyable output. Your original input remains in the text box.
Can I use it in a username?
Sometimes, but many username boxes restrict combining characters. Test the result in the exact destination box before relying on it.
